Fourteen great tracks with Jo Stafford vocalizing to the latter-day big band sound make this album one worth listening to. Arrangements and orchestration by jazz greats Benny Carter and Billy May, plus celebrated conductor Paul Weston, the father of lounge music, make it even better. The two Benny Carter appearances, ''Whatcha Know Joe?'' and ''The One I Love,'' are the two of the hippest numbers ever recorded (and I mean that, no exaggeration). Also of note, Jo's renditions of Cole Porter's ''Love for Sale'' and ''Early Autumn.'' Recommended.
