Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters

Their Complete Recordings Together

MCA/Decca

The collaborative effort between Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters is one of the legendary pairings in popular music. Both artists worked with a number of duet partners during their careers, but none sparked so well as their own combination. Between 1939 and 1952 Bing and the Andrews Sisters recorded 46 tunes, 23 of which were major hit records. All 46 commercially-released master recordings are included in this collection from MCA and Decca, along with five blow-ups, one parody, and one alternate take. In other words, this is the ultimate collection for fans of either artist as well as an excellent listen for those who aren't as familiar with their work. Excellent re-mastering and detailed liner notes. A great deal of fun.
