Whittall's Anglo-Persians was a musical outfit formed and supported by the Whittall Rug Company. Led by Louis Katzman and active during the 1920s and 1930s, the group performed musical standards and the occasional ''oriental'' influenced number. They broadcast on Boston radio and recorded for the Brunswick and Vocalion labels.
Whittall Anglo-Persian rugs are collectibles today.
