Herman Waldman

Herman Waldman operated a regional orchestra based out of Dallas, Texas, during the late 1920s to the early 1940s. The group recorded for Brunswick from 1929 through the early 1930s and with Bluebird in later years. Harry James was a member in his younger days. Waldman's orchestra never received great acclaim outside its own territory, though it remained active until at least June of 1940, when it performed at the National Tomato Show and Festival in Jacksonville, Texas.
