Vocalist Betty Van is best noted for her work with Benny Goodman. Van sang on Los Angeles radio while still in high school. After graduation she toured with Ken Baker before joining Goodman in 1937. She stayed only a few months before being replaced by Martha Tilton. Van later spent a year on tour with Jack Teagarden.
