Paul Tremaine

Paul Tremaine operated a popular East Coast dance orchestra from the 1920s to the 1940s. The group featured ensemble vocals and the trumpet work of future bandleader Sonny Dunham. During the early 1930s the orchestra resided at Yoeng's Chinese-American Restaurant on Broadway. It recorded for RCA Victor and Columbia. Tremaine retired in the mid-1930s only to form a new band a year later.
