Vocalist Sue Mitchell worked with Bunny Berigan, Duke Ellington, and Woody Herman during the 1930s. She also recorded with Barney Bigard and His Jazzopaters, an Ellington side project that featured clarinetist Bigard and bandleader Charlie Barnet as well as Ellington himself.
