Artie Shaw and His Gramercy Five
Innovative jazz sextet formed by Artie Shaw in 1940, disbanded the following year. Featured Shaw on clarinet, Jack Jenney and Billy Butterfield on trumpet, Nick Fatool on drums, and Johnny Guarnieri on harpsichord. Shaw breifly reformed the group in 1954.
