Frank Dailey

Besides being the owner of the famous Meadowbrook in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, one of the premier ballrooms of the dance band era, Frank Dailey also led several orchestras. His most exceptional outfit featured arrangements by Joe Mooney, the trumpets of Ralph Muzzillo and Corky Cornelius, and the singing of Louise Wallace. He also led a less musical and less successful outfit called the ''Stop-and-Go Orchestra.'' From 1953 to 1956 he appeared regularly on television's Music at the Meadowbrook, an hour long program featuring big band music. Dailey died in 1956.
