Pupi Campo led a popular Latin orchestra in the post-war years. During the late 1940s the band leaned towards more of a mainstream sound and featured a young Tito Puente. During the 1950s the orchestra was featured on Jack Paar's TV show. While on the program Campo met and married Clooney sister Betty. Campo later settled into Las Vegas, where he remained a featured performer for several years.
